Tylenol Brand Scholarship Fund

The Tylenol Brand Scholarship Fund is open to second year undergraduate and all levels of graduate students who will be attending an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the fall of 2008. You must intend to major in a health-related field and demonstrate leadership in community and school activities to be eligible for this award.

Blogging for Progress Scholarship

The Blogging for Progress Scholarship is available to students who are age 16 or older as of April 15, 2008, and will be attending a regionally or nationally accredited college, university or vocational school during the 2009 or 2010 calendar years. You must create a blog on the ProgressiveU website and write about current events, public policy, and issues affecting young people. Winners are based on total accumulated points as of June 30, 2008 with points awarded for each blog entry and comment accepted for posting to the website and for each read of a participants blog entries by members and visitors. Participants also have opportunities to earn bonus points towards the scholarship throughout the semester.

Blade Your Ride Scholarship

The Blade Your Ride Scholarship is available to undergraduate students with a passion for finding solutions to the global climate crisis. You must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree at a US college or university and have at least a 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. You must submit a resume, transcript, letter of referral and a video message demonstrating your commitment to doing something about the climate crisis.

Alvin J. Cox Memorial Fund

The Alvin J. Cox Memorial Fund is available to college students in need of financial assistance. You must submit an essay on any topic of your choosing as long it includes: Your reason for deciding to attend college, your reason as to why you believe you deserve the scholarship and your chosen college major.

Akash Kuruvilla Memorial Scholarship

The Akash Kuruvilla Memorial Scholarship is available to students pursuing post-secondary study. You must submit a 750 word essay answering the question, "What does the phrase 'The American Dream' mean to you and how do you embody 'The American Dream'? A personal statement, two letters of recommendation, a copy of your academic transcript and a copy of your own or your parent's/guardian's 2007 W2, IRS Form 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ are required.

The Akademos / TextbookX.com 2008 Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in good standing at an accredited college or university in the U.S. You must be a legal resident of the U.S. or an international student with a valid visa to be eligible.
